As the literature suggested, I slept sitting up for the first night to minimize possible swelling.  I experienced only minute swelling under my eyes Saturday morning.  That area was the one that felt a bit irritated on Saturday, which is understandable - tender area.  But the small lines are now gone!

Overall, I felt as if I had a slight sunburn on Saturday and it was barely noticeable by Sunday. I just looked as if I had more color than usual, which was nice for me.  The peeling began Saturday evening and was minor really.  I first only lightly brushed it with a soft towel when I dried my face.  On Monday AM, I used the mild exfoliante just to remove the obvious peeling skin.
 
I looked natural by Tuesday.  The Aquafor was great, as it kept the skin moist and the peeling much less noticeable.  I'm not really wearing makeup - just a bit of concealer on my broken blood vessels around my nostrils, blush & eye makeup.  My skin looks much more evenly toned, a lot of my blemishes have cleared, my pores and some fine lines are gone.  I hope to have it done again, perhaps more aggressively.  It's a great procedure - very rewarding in a short time.
 
I have been in the public eye since Sunday and the feedback has been very positive.  I even received an unsolicited, "By the way, your face looks awesome", from a young woman who knew that I’d had this done.  She was also at my house when I got home on Friday, so she saw it all.  I saw a close friend yesterday and she was also impressed.  Everyone has been very interested in this procedure.

I also have to mention the skin care products Aethetica recommends - Skin Ceuticals.  I usually ignore the claims touted by cosmetic companies. I'm not naive; I know there's really nothing that is going to make my skin look *that* great.  Skin Ceuticals of course also doesn't make me look 10 years old, but they have made a visible difference on my skin.  If you try nothing else, try the plain old "Daily Moisture."  It's hard to explain, but your skin almost has a glow and just looks healthy.  OK, call me crazy...  but I'm looking forward to my next laser appointment.
