While scars are usually difficult to treat, we have had success in improving the texture and color of scars making them much less noticeable.  Treatment of scars often requires several treatments over time and sometimes, a combination of treatments is required.  Red and brown scars can often be improved by utilizing our Intense Pulsed Light device (IPL).  Many depressed scars can be smoothed with injections of a filling substance called Restylane.  Scars may go away completely, improve partially, or sometimes not improve at all. During your initial free consultation, one of our medical professionals will evaluate your scarring and determine the best treatment and the level of improvement you could expect to see.
