Laser hair removal is accomplished by destroying the hair follicles while they are in an actively growing state.  The hair that we see at one time represents only a small portion of our total follicles.  Our hair follicles are active at various times on their own, individual rotation, so it is necessary to be treated several times with treatments spaced approximately a month apart. 

The FDA sets the average number of treatments required at 5, which is why we offer a 5 treatment package special.  The package price equates to getting your 5th treatment for free, so most clients take advantage of the package rate.

Once a follicle is destroyed, it can no longer grow hair; however, it is possible for follicles to become active after a series of 5 treatments.  This simply means that follicles became active that weren’t during one of the previous treatments so the laser could not destroy them.  In these cases, you are welcome to schedule another treatment.  If you have chosen to pay per treatment, you will simply pay that fee; however if you have invested in the 5 treatment package special, we will arrange a reduced fee for treatments beyond your series.

The cost for laser hair removal is dependent upon surface area and is broken down by area below.  For customized areas, such as partial male back, a consultation is required to determine surface area and therefore your cost for treatment.
